Torque Converter Fried, Need opinions
So I find out that my severe loss of power is due to my stoppable clutch being locked up in my torque converter, which is fine, that means I can replace it with something bigger and better, but I'm clueless on what to get. It's basically still a stock 5.0 with minor internal upgrades, would the FORD RACING AOD TORQUE CONVERTER 2800-3000RPM 5.0L STALL 800-1000 RPM be too much?? What could/would happen if I did go overboard, other than losing my rear end??

i would go alittle higher than that... everyone that gets lower than a 3k isin't happy a 3200 is what i always see recommended around here
i'll be replacing mine stock 1800 with a custom 3400 soon as i get my engine back

For yourcar I'dgo with anywhere from a 3000-3500. Don't get theFRPP ones though, off the shelf converters blow *****.Get one from here, http://www.edgeracingconverters.com/ , it'll becustom built and the staff are really nice when you call up there. You'll love a high performance torque converter from Edge.
