might wanna take engine and tranny out together, pre soak the header studs( most likey will have to be cut off) and the driveshaft bolts with penetrating oil.

If you just take the motor out, alignment of the motor and trans will make it harder on your time. and supporting the trans while the motor is out.

Make sure the ground is smooth and flat, if not the wheels will get stuck for the floor jack.

Remove the hood and go slow with everything

Header bolds are pains in the ***. Soak the motor mount bolts also. Taking the hood off is the only way to go. When you are actually pulling it out go very slow! A tranny swinging into the windshield is a very bad experience.
