RE: WHat Kind of oil do you use?
I picked up some Valvoline 5w30 for the Mustang because it was on clearance at Walmart. I havent changed it since Ive had the car though because it was fresh when I bought it and Ive only driven it 2500 miles or so.
I use Supertech (walmart brand) oil and filters in my Elantra and I plan on using the same in the Mustang after the Valvoline.

RE: WHat Kind of oil do you use?
i pulled the techinical specs from all the major companies who make synthetic. the truth in the matter is redline makes the best oil, followed by mobil 1 believe it or not.
i personally use pennzoil synthetic 5w20 in the 06gt and pennzoil conventional in all my other vehicles. the 77 gets straight 40 [8D]

mobil 10w40 but that was because the valve cover gaskets were leaking and i was trying to slow it down a little with some heavier oil... now that all the gaskets are fixed and it shouldnt leak anymore i did mobil 10w30 synthetic.. but after her first oil change when i get it back on the roadi plan on swapping out all of my fluids for royal purple stuff.

if you do some research you'll find that RP actually doesnt even meet the latest oil specs / certifications
that kinda creeps me out personally
