engine quits when I turn off my a/c
My car is at operating temperature and I am driving down the road at 45 mph and I turn my ac off and my motor shuts off. It started several minutes later but I smelled alot of fuel. I tried the ac switch a few more times when I got home and it did not totally kill the motor but it almost shut down every time I turn the ac off. What do you all think could be the problem?

yeah I am thinking that what ever changes the idle from the ac to not having the ac on is the culprit, or a weak *** electrical system. I just don't know what the sensor might be called that controls the idle for the ac. trying to get some ideas.

hey, I appreciate it, I turn it off at idle and it just lowers about 5 or 600 rpm's, dies sometimes, sometimes not. Just not sure about what to start checking.
