AOD gears?

AOD gears?
Is it true that for a daily driver automatic the best way to go on gears is 4.10 or is that just personal preferance? I want some gears in my car but undecisive on which ones to go with. Ive been thicking 3.55 for a daily driver but then as I read more posts I hear that its for manuals only.
So which ones should I look for. I dont want to regret buying ones then changing them if doesnt work like I expect, so any input from AOD daily drivers is greatly welcomed. Thanks for your help.

RE: AOD gears?
a lot of it is personal preferance. one thing to keep in mind is gas mileage. if it bothers you and its a concern then dont go to steep. they typical gear choice is either a 3.73 or a 4.10. you could go with the 3.55 if your really concerned with gas but you'll prolly b disappointed. i personally went with the 3.73's and like em.

RE: AOD gears?
im personally gonna go with the 4.10s, i do alot of highway driving, but i put my car in D at 65 or so, to hear what 2700rpms give or take would sound/feel like, and it wasnt a big deal for me, im also not to to worried about the mpg loss.

RE: AOD gears?
I used to run a 4.30 but at the moment im runnin a 3.73 and i like it. With the 4.30 i had nice acceleration but my top speed suffered although the highway wasnt too bad. With the 3.73 i can go faster but my acceleration doesnt feel much slower. Highway cruising is nice and so is passing, just drop it to 3rd and i go. The motor seems to be happier with the 3.73 so thats what id recommend for a driver.
