Anyone have a complete Trick Flow TW setup? Or just a question about it...

I didn't mean all I want to put in the car is $4k, just that that's all I felt comfortable spending on the car this year, or maybe just until fall.
I think either the holley complete kit, or the TF Track heat setup is what I'll get, combined with a 75 mm tb, 76 mm Mafs and 24lb injectors. I can get the tb local from a friend for $50, spend $150 on the maf and injectors, and about $2300 on the TF complete kit. I also know of some longtubes local for $100 so I'll get those and do a custom dual setup. I've already got a superchip from a past car that I can just get retuned for the car, so figure $3k there, plus a clutch, gears, fluids, misc crap and I should see 300whp/300wtq.
Maybe in the fall I'll do some suspension, about a grand, and then next spring get a plate nitrous kit and turn the wick up!

Im not sure how the Holley heads compare to the TW's but I would go with their manifold over TF's.

+1 I dont think I would ever buy a "kit" either... the only reason for a kit is if you want to take the guess work out of everything because thats the only thing it does. You can piece together a much better combination, but most of the time it will cost you more unless you shoot for used heads and intakes.

Why piece together a kit? I have no clue what I need for heads/cam. The intake and other stuff I can figure out, but I figured if its packaged together, it works best together.
Show me some quality heads that out peform these for similar costs as well as a cam and intakes, and I'm interested.
Thanks

afr, rhs, and others... hell, ported gt40s are even better, if done right
if u dont no wut ur doing dont piece one together, get a kit
but really pick an rpm range, find good flowing heads, decide on cc size based on what u want to do w. it, and the compression your looking to get around. find an = flowing intake, then get a cam that will work w. ur valvetrain/match ur rpm range, or be even smarter and get a custom cam

I guess I'll buy a kit, lol cuz I just drive the damn thing, I dunno what to buy/look for. I know I want the range to be like 1500-5500/6000rpms, that's sounds good to me.
