spark plugs

RE: spark plugs
mostly depends on fuel type, higher octane actually burns colder and cleaner because its more pure than pump gas per say. the lower the octane the more heat it takes to burn and the slower it burns due to additives and its grade of refinary. the slower the burn the more heat produced and the slower the burn the more fouling due to the whole amount of fuel on intake into cylinder not being burned completely. you could put three motors heads in front of me thats been run for a good while then taken out and run with diffrent octane fuels like 1-89 octane, 2-98 octane, and 3- 108 octane and i could tell u which was which by the amount of fouling in the cylinders

RE: spark plugs
stay with stock plugs , im running stock in mine but get autolite plugs. gap em at .052 when you change em see what color they are and check current gap. if they are brown or tan=good burn gray= a little rich light brown and crusted=lean burn black= really rich black and wet= fouled and either overly rich or if its oil you got oil getting into the cylinder.
