Default Alignment needed with Subframe Connectors

I am kind of an idiot when it comes to suspension stuff....I am installing new Steeda Springs with new struts and shocks and new upper and lower rear control arms....

Once my car runs hopefully in a few days I was going to take it for an alignment...I also have to weld in my Maximum Motorsports subframe connectors...Does it matter if this is done after the ALIGNMENT?? or should I align the car after these are in?

You shouldnt have a problem getting everything aligned and THAN having your subframes put on but if your going to do it just get it all put on than aligned. But like I said, you wont have a problem if you dont.

Thanks for the info...

I cant weld so I am at the mercy of a friend of mine and I already have an appointment to have the alignment done...

Plan is to have the car running by Thurs...Subframes by Fri and alignment on Sat...break in the motor for a few weeks...then hit the dyno...

Don't forget that when you weld the subframes on...the car should be on a level surface and it should be supporting it's own weight (in other words, not jacked up.)

I know this seems like common sense for many, but you would be surprised to learn hoe many people do it in a slanted driveway or do it with teh car jacked up or on ramps.

Sam,

What would happen if someone did weld the subframe connectors when the car was jacked up and not supporting it own weight?
