Chiltons FTW. A clutch alignment tool, so far as I remember, was $2.38.. When you put the clutch back on, get it on there loosely, stick the tool in, and tighten the bolts the rest of the way. MAKE SURE the tool is in there straight when you do this.

you cna use a piece of broom handle in a pinch if you do not have an alignment tool....you can also make one out of an input shaft of an old tranny if you have one laying around.
i have my old t-5 layin on the ground... so i think i can do that then.. ill check that out for sure

+ a bunch on the alignment tool, you'll be sowwy if you dont get er in there centered. btw, now is a good time to inspect that clutch and replace if it needs it.

i yea its probably worth the 5 or so bucks that one cost... ill go get one and not try to cut corners
