i know this relates to my other post too much, but i need an answer asap. ok, i bought the car with shorty headers, a catted h pipe and flowmaster catback. im droppin the car off to the have the h pipe replaced with an o/r prochamber n dumped flowmasters. my question is, what size turndowns should i buy for the flowmasters? im thinking they are 2.5" right? so, a 3inch bolton style turndown would be the best? or have a 2.5" tip welded on would be better? thanks

when I had dumps I bought some prebent pipe from autozone, I think they were 3in. Beware that dumps get old really quick

I agree. Difeerent strokes for different folks, My dumps got old in just a few weeks.

why did ya get sick of them? I might be going dumps as well. any way to run stright pipes back? or do you have to have catbacks?

the fuel burning the eyes, can not carry on a converstion in or around the car, every cop wants to follow you around, just to mention a few of my own personal experiences.

but can u run stright pipes from the mufflers back? or do u need the catbacks for clearnce.

dumps are for dummies...they provide maybe 1-2 horsepower and the give back is the fumes can kill you. I hope anyone running dumps gets a $hit load of tickets like the deserve
