True, everyone here would be OK with a t5. Got me there. Either way, it's better to keep it on the road than on jack stands. Whatever works is great with me.

im not dissagreeing w. u... a 900ft/lbs. tq car + a stock t5 DO NOT mix at all, your 100%correct. my only point is that a t5 can handle more then 315 tq.. and most ppl have syncro problems, which, as u kno is driver error, not because the trans is a piece

The t5 transmission is in no way junk, they are a good transmission but only when used as recommended more or less. I blew my orginal t5 at 180k miles with the last 80k having 500+ horses attached. My transmission lasted that long with the power because I shifted the car like a normal person driving a car. I blew it apart doing exactly the opposite, got alittle ticked off at the honda revving his hamster powerd, hair dryer blown engine at me. Dumped first at 2k rpm, and shifted really hard into second-POOF tranny is beat. If you want to "drive it like you stole it" then a stock t5 is NOT something you should spend your money on. If your a normal person that jus likes the ride, then I would see no problem with a stock t5.
