I am a newbie to the mustangs so bear with me. i just bought a 91 gt last weekend and i was wondering if my ideas are the right way to go. Please let me know what you think and if i should do one mod over the next. Im just starting off so i want to spend about a grand. BBK intake setup,BBk shorty headers,x pipe,and 3.73 gears. What do you guys think. any help is appreciated

trust me save your money and buy a supercharger. after that every mod that you get after that you will actually see somewhat of a gain from. i wish i had went that route when i first start modding my car and was buying the simple bolt to see 5hp from. Trust me go supercharger

I would get a supercharger and the gears. That's what I would have done if I started over again probably. Depending on how tired your motor is may be the deciding factor on what you get though. My motor had 215k on it, so I would have rebuilt it gear'd it and then supercharged it.

s/c(or h/c/i, but personally a 6/9 psi s/c)

dont get a cai, waste of money.
bbk intake? the ssi? or did u mean cai? either way, dont get that...

and ofcourse... some sticky tires...

+1 go s/c! start at 5-6psi if that works well then go up to 10-12psi then start the mods

I understand most of you are saying supercharger, some recommendations of which and what types would be greatly appreciated. Couldn't you also say any type of forced induction as well?

Superchargers are forced induction, For your first mods, I'd suggest 3:73's get the frpp ones, It'll make the car feel entirely different, then full exhaust, and then some upper/lower control arms with sticky tires.
