What Pilot Bushing for 4 cyl Trans in V8 crank
As the subject stated, I was hoping that someone knows definitively what pilot bushing to use when using a 4 banger tranny in a V8. IE ranger pilot bearing from XXXX year to XXXX year. Or a part number works great too... Thanks for the help!

I'm pretty sure the crank is a different size; the outside diameter (OD) is bigger on the V8 crank than the 4 cyl. The trick is matching the 4 cyl inside diameter (ID) to the V8 OD.

According to a guy on Corral, the correct bearing is from an 82-84 diesel ranger. Good fact to write down somewhere in case somebody needs it someday....
