Default Rewiring my radio

Ok so i had to weld some holes up in my floor pans and in the process of taking out the interior i found a crappy, poorly connected, stereo with bares wires everywhere under the seats, and the carpet, so i took out all the wires. But the guy who installed it decided to just leave the radio wires that he clipped hanging off. So does anyone have a guide or diagram of all the wires in the back of the radio that i need to hook up? thanks

What year and type of sound system? Some models had a factory amp behind the radio, and you have to bypass the amp with an aftermarket head unit.

I know it doesn't help you now... but I know that the haynes manuals have wiring diagrams for stereos in the back. it will tell you what wire is what. Then you can go from there.

Personally, I think the stock wires are crap and I always run my own wires anyway.

I hink you might get a little better sound quality with better wires. Plus you can clean up some of the factory mess if you dont use the factory amp. Pull the amp out and clean up the wiring mess.
