Ive got a UPR quadrant and firewall adjuster. I bought a Ford Racing cable and it is holding up good. I had to remove a little bit of the quadrant with a chainsaw sharpener and put some oil down the cable. Been on there for a year now and it works good. The clutch is a Spec stage 1.

Do yourself a favor and get the MM kit which utilizes a stock cable which will never break...or plan on replacing that cable at least a couple more times. Adjustable cables suck, end of story.

did u work out at the gym a little to much??sorry i had to say it, anyway yes bbk cables suck, i had one and it stretched the first time i pressed the clutch, so i got the steeda kit, and the firwall adjuster is the better way to go over the stock plastic adjuster, and as for the stock cable being strong, the reason i got the bbk in the first place was because the stocker broke, yes my clutch is stiff and yes it is way over kill for my car (CF LMC) long story short steeda is the best cable i have tried to date, maybe when i snap with one i'll try something else, but that won't be for awhile this clutch should hold just about everything i plan on throwing at my car, and i prolly won't need a much stronger clutch anything in the future

If you are asking me, not at all...12oz curls are the only work out I get. Adjustable cables are all made by 1 or 2 companies and are just plain shoddy products. Add in the fact that most aftermarket quadrants have a horrible ramp angle which causes the cable to rub on the quadrant when the clutch is pressed and it is no wonder adjustabe cables snap all the time. I had 2 snap on me with the D&D kit (which I have found to be the worst and have a realy bad ramp angle causing premature snnapge due to rubbing) , and numerous buddies in our club have snapped steeda, bbk, upr and D&D kits alike. After the second cable snapped, I bought the Maximum Motorsports kit with firewalla adj. and a lengthened stock cable when it first came out and I have had perfect, 100% smooth clutch engagement for 2.5 years and counting.

Checkout corral or any of the big mustang sites and do a search, you wil find that the cables suck major @ss, in fact here's some results from corral. http://www.corral.net/forums/search....archid=2869536

Here is a great link to MM site explaining why adjustable cables and even some quadrant designs are inferior.

And lastly...a side by side comparison of the stock cable vs. adj. cable, which would you rather have? hmmmm
