95 gt headers qustion
i have stock headers and bbk o/r x pipe and flowmaster exhaust on my 95 gt.... my question is, do i need un-equal length shorties or equal length shorties for it to bolt right up to my x pipe?? any help will be great.. thnx
oh and how much louder (better) will it sound after this?

They will both bolt up to your midpipe. The terms equal length and unequal length can be confusing. The "length" refers to how long the indivudal tubes are on the headers. in equal length headers, all four tubes are the same length. To make them the same length, they have to take some pretty interesting twists and turns. But there are benefits to equal lengths (which I won't get into here.) With standard shortys, the tubes are different lengths and simply go straight back.
But as far as overall length goes (actual length) they will be the same. Either one should be able to bolt right up to your standard midpipes, as long as the headers themselves are standard length (overall length.)
That being said, equal length can be a pain in the *** to install. Especially in the cramped bay on an SN95.
