Right now I got a svo motorsport T-5 and it looks like this:

and the 94-95 cobra:

3.35 1.99 1.33 1.00 0.68 3.15
So i'm wondering how my car will feel with this new trans? I haven't bought one yet btw. Ive got 3.73s too. And how much of a change in rpms can i expect in 5th?

if it was me i would stick with the SVO. that shorter 1st gear in the cobra trans will make youre first gear with the 3.73's really short and almost a waist. plus the taller OD gear in the svo will help fuel millage alittle bit. JMO though.

that svo 5th gear MIGHT give u .5-1 MPG and the 3.35 with 3.73's isn't realy all that short

I have 3.73 gears and had the 3.35 first gear. I put in the T-5Z with 2.95 first gear a month ago to get more out of my first gear. I love the 2.95 first gear and and .63 5th. I don;t really feel any loss on take off but get an extra 5-10 mph on in first, plus tach a little less in 5th, probably won't notice 5th too much.
