Default Should I buy this???

I have the opertunity to buy a pretty nice Fox body stang off of a friend for a very good price but it needs a couple things fixed on it. It needs ball joints and something small fixed on the trans- can't remember exactly what it was. Here is a list of what has been done to it....

10000 on the motor
5000 on trans

(FM) Double Roller Timing chain FM=Ford Motorsports
Lunati Cam .510 Lift/ .500 duration

(FM)1.7 roller rockers
(FM)24lbs/hr injectors
(FM)190lt/hr Fuel pump
(FM)High volume oilpump
*Car was converted from speed density to mass air with new computer and wiring
77mm Mass air flow sensor
3core radiator w/electric fan and adj. temp
130amp altenator
Optima battery
K&N ram air
(FM) Pulleys

Transmission
TCI 3speed automatic w/2800-3200 stall with titanium insert
aluminum bellhousing and tailshaft
Performance Automatic- Reverse fully manual valvebody
(FM) Aluminum Driveshaft

Rearend
8.8 Ford w/3.47 gear

Body and Interior
Cervinis Ramair hood w/functional ducts

New carpet and sunroof

Exhaust
Mac 1 3/4" Long tube headers
Dr. Gas x-pipe 2.5"
Flowmaster 2.5" 2chamber mufflers with stainless exhaust pipes

He has a few other extra parts he is throwing in also and he says he will sell it to me for $3000. Is that a good deal? I never owned a 5.0L mustang so I don't know alot about them, I love Fox bodies and have been wanting one for a long time. Any info/advice would be great! Thanks guys.

I'm going to look at it this weekend, I haven't seen it in almost 2 years but it looked sweet back then. I'll snap some pics over the weekend.

Thats a good price.
Id swap in an AOD or T5 unless its just a track car. Not having overdrive sucks on the street/highway.

I wouldn't be driving it much, probably just something to cruise around on the weekends and take to the track every once and awhile. One concern for me is emissions, I know this car probably won't pass in my area, is there any way to title the car as a race/show car so it won't have to go through emissions?
