this is my not too smart opinion....I think that your battery is not holding any charge if its dying on you, or maybe you didn't drive the car enough after the jump to fully recharge your bat. what if you turn off your radio and bypass the electric fan to a manual switch and turn it on right after the car starts, "if it starts" or like PRO said it could me your starter solenoid on the side of your fender. But my money is on the batt. being bad if you never encountered this issue before with all of those wiring problems.

Nope. Just look under the column about 1/2 way down. The switch is mounted on the side of the column along w/ the high beem switch. There will be several wires attached to it. You can't miss it

91redhatchback, the battery in itself is new and does hold a charge. I have been having slight electrical issues with the car, just random things. Turn signals going off, dome light randomly staying on, just weird things with it. The battery is new, its an 05, so im pretty confident its fine. I will check tomorrow morning the ignition switch and see whats up.

cool,...hopefully the you can fix it soon cause those elec problems are a pain in the ***... if its not one thing its the other...all of my wires from my light and fog switches melted together...its no fun trying to reroute each single wire to its location...good luck!!!

That doesnt make sense to me. Theres no way that it couldnt be the battery, because you said it worked after you jumped it. Unless you have a short to power/ground somewhere after the ignition switch, but that still wouldnt explain why you need a jump to start the car. If you have loose wires, then maybe you jiggled them around while jumping? Starters draw a lot of amps, like 185-250 amps in a 8 cylinder car, if you have a battery that has a borderline charge, then attempt to start it, and you lose all voltage, then your battery wont hold voltage. Do your lights still come on? If so do them dim while cranking? Fix those loose wires, those are never a good thing.

I plan on fixing those lose wires tomorrow, However the battery does hold a charge, im not sure about the lights comming on, but i highly doubt it. I will check tomorrow morning when i get home, im at work currently. After i was jumped, i did wiggle around the wires to get the turn signal to come on, and noticed that i did something and my rpms went sky high to like 4k rpm, while i was at a stop lol, there was no stress on the engine, it was just electrical. That part has never happened before, but i wiggled it around again and it stopped. Im very confident that the batter is fine and its an actual wiring problem. I will see what i can see tomorrow morning.

If your lights or nothing else in the car is going on, it is, without a doubt your battery, or connections to the battery. You said your battery cable was loose; did you check the ground side too?
