Yeah with just bolt ons and no motor work the most he could get is like 240rwhp. You should be able to beat him pretty bad right now because your 8 will have way more torque than he is putting out.

Not even close. They are 240hp "out of the box" tuner, CAI, and LT will give him maybe another 15 at the crank. Unless he has an S/C or turbo he will not be near that.

Stock high 15 second cars, but with bolt ons very low 14 second cars almost 13 second cars NA that is, fastest time right now FI is 12.2 and thats at modest boost on the powerhouse turbo kit, you could check them out here: v6mustangvideos.vidiac.com , But anyways you still should be able to beat him right now.

Those new v6s are high 15 second cars. It takes a supercharger just to get them into the 13's. You should be able to take him right now no problem.

i used to destroy the new edge sixers with my old 89 gt 5 speed with only cai, headers, x pipe, and catback. i also had the stock 2.73's. any 5.0 in decent running condition with a decent driver will smoke these rides.
