no power after 4k

Default no power after 4k

ok so yesterday i took the stang out and got on it a couple of times and it gets to 4k and pulls hard and then the car feels like it cant go any further. it will go above 4k but just barely....haredly reaching 5k. is there something seriously wrong?

my fuel pump was the problem for me....the car would like shut down after about 4 k...NO power at all...

headers are not the problem.

for the fuel pump, did it like shut down or did it just keep reving but you just werent going any fast and no more pull after 4k?

Sounds like vavle springs, ignition breaking down, or fuel pumpto me.

well...i guess it could be any of those. this car has been to hell and back. i know the valve spring arent any good because of the cam, it lifts higher than the spring allows. also the only thing ignition wise i've replace its ICM, plugs, wires cap and rotor. other than that thats all for ignition. and for fuel system....fuel filter is only thing that has been changed so it could be any of those. is there any way to narrow it down? the car runs like a champ, no other issues other than it feels like it tops out at 4k
