paxton novi 1000 questions for the pro's
ok so i'm thinking about getting the paxton novi 1000 for my 88 notch, mostly because i can afford it, i'm also thinking of maybe an anderson power pipe and a renagade pulley for a little more boost. but heres my questions. The kit i'm looking at says its for Mass Air, Is there any way to run this on speed density or do i have to convert to mass air. I have most of the stuff to convert it i'm thinking i just need the computer but i would rather leave it speed density if i can. second does this supercharger get rid of the ac or anything like that? and the last question is will i still be safe using a 100 shot of nitrous with this if its only like once in a blue moon or do i need to get a smaller shot?

RE: paxton novi 1000 questions
You can leave it speed density but you will need a tuner
that knows how to work on it.
I'm actually about to go back to a speed density set-up when I install
my AEM plug-n-play engine computer and dump the MAF
boost + Nos = boom ....... without proper tune
that knows how to work on it.

RE: paxton novi 1000 questions
so even if i lessen it to a 50 shot am i risking to much? So it probably would just be cheaper to buy the mass air computer that i need then have it tuned right? do you know where i can get one still for a good price?

RE: paxton novi 1000 questions
what if i don't do the power pipe or the pulley right now, would a 100 shot still be pushing it? the supercharger really isn't making that much power, and i don't really want my nitrous to just be sitting there not being used on occasion.

What I've heard is that your shot almost doubles when your running forced induction...
