Race how close?
 

Hello,Comparing my 95 gt with some mod work done....To a new 07 stock gt how bad would I get beat in a 1/4 mile race? I'm just curious.........................

07 Stock GT with what gear set.... they come stock with the option of 3.55 gears

you'll probably be close to a full second behind. with your mods i can see you running a mid 14, and the 3 valves run mid 13's. good luck though!

the new GT's has 3.31 with an auto and 3.55's with a stick. rarely do you find an auto with the 55's.

point of reference, i took a ride in a 04 GT with 4.11's, an X pipe, Magnaflows, and a retune - it was just about even with my 06 automatic that only has a CAI and Flowmasters. (together good for about 10 HP)

yea this guy that went with us down to the strip last summer ran his stock 06GT with flows and ran a 13.6 all day....i wish they had that kind of technology available back when they were making up the fox's.

id also say about a second, but maybe he will sleep off the line, good luck
