Default NEED HELP FAST

ok the motor is almost in..its bolted into the mounts and some of the holes from the bellhousing line up. the problem is the one side of the of the engine has a gap between the bellhousing..its only about a 1/4 of an inch but i cant get the motor to sit flush with the tranny....and suggestions or anything??

what kind of trans? dowels lined up . if your sure all,s lined up tighten up a few bolts and see if the gap closes, but don,t force something if it ain't goin find what the problem is. next time trans bolts b4 mounts

You should bolt the bellhousing up to the motor then install the tranny. Its a lot easier this way. Then when you get it to the same point youre at now have someone push teh clutch pedal and itll pop right in.

bellhouseing first always. And also that big hole in the bellhousing debure it lightly if it has nicks in it you will have one hell of a time getting the tranny back in it.

yeah have someone push the clutch in. I had same problem tried that and it went right in
