cause the 4.6's dont make the torque down low like the 5.0's do. kb's are good for instand boost down low so the power band builds faster. helps the 4.6's get moving. 5.0's dont need the extra help to get moving since it is a pushrod motor and makes moretorque usualy.

my 347 has a kenne bell 2.2L, I use meth. injection(recently added havnt retuned) and I love the root style supercharger. I make full boost(16lbs on aggressive tune and pully swap)at 2,400rpms. Numbers ended up at 612rwhp and 643rwtq on a dyno jet. The 347 is dart block, afr 205 heads, custom grind cam and full bolt ons. Its a blast to play around in, but you lose alot of gas being in boost constantly. Only thing I didn't get out of the s/c that I hoped for the whine that 4.6s make. Yes it whines but not at loud as the 4.6 Kenne Bell.
