Default MAP / Barometric Sensor Cofusion

Are these interchangeable? I've read about the SD and vacuum lines and all that. Two parts stores showed pics of Baro sensor (with the white collar), and then the parts eachhad female vacuum fittings. Is it thecorrect sensor without the white collar?

+1...they are the same....the M in MAP means manifold and the B BAP means barametric(i think) The hose on the MAP reads manifold pressure and the hose on the BAP reads barametric pressure. SD uses a MAP and MAF uses a BAP.

So it's the same part, even though the replacement will accept a vacuum hose and the one on the car (and in the pictures at the parts store) will not?

When i converted to MAF from SD, I just unhooked my MAP sensor vacuum line and it made it a BAP. They are the same.
