Default transmission questio
It is a t-5. All gears run great. The only problem sometimes when i go to put it into the 2nd gear, it will either grind and not go in or kind of kick me out of it. This happens especially when downshifting. Also it doesnt seem to happen until i have been driving around for a little while or so. Maybe a shift fork? Or does it look bad for me?

Syncros. When you down shift it unloads a lot of torque on the Synchronizers. Probably time for a rebuild. But before you do... powershift the sh!* out of it!!!

Yeah mine dose the same.. kicks me out.. have to wait a few sec before it will let me shift into the gear. I'm rebuilding anyway.

the little dogs wherr wore a little so i am replacing every thing including getting a steel retainer
