Well recently I decided to swap to auto trans. So while waiting to get my c4, I installed my B&M ratchet shifter. When I got the shifter first thing I noticed is that there was no way to light the gear indicator(being a STICKER!). So busting out my creativity I did this- went to my local advanced auto bought some primer, black paint, some clear coat and 2 3' blue led lights. I dremeled in the top of the b&m shifter case a P, R, N, D, 2, 1 and did some wiring. This is what I came up with. The small blue light you see on the left is a switch I installed to turn the lights on and off.

Here is a video of my 347 Kenne Bell Supercharged mustang, the car has came a long way since this video like uping the boost to 16lbs, adding meth kit and shortly auto trans. Sorry for the view, my little sister was holding the camera and she has no interest in cars what so ever...also sorry for the cussing you may be able to hear, I dropped an old flywheel onto my foot.

yea oh well we have all dropped the f bomd at least once in our life. anyway, what kind of cam u runnin on that thing and i kno this may sound stupid but is that the stock block?

Car sounded pretty good and nice job with the custom lighting, but why didnt you just wire them up to youre lights and just do away with the switch.

u r a genious..... my dads prostreet nova had that shifter and i liked it alot.... his wasnt black though.... you def had a good idea with that one!

Cam is custom grind by comp cams, and no the block is not stock its a dart 4 bolt main. On a friendly tune(91 octane) I was at 612rwhp 643rwtq(that is with 12lb pulley), I'm waiting to retune after I get my trans. I added the 16lb pulley and meth kit. I'm looking to break into 650+rwhp/rwtq. The b&m shifter case I actually primed, painted with a gloss black spray paint and clear coated. I put the switch in b/c if I ran it straight through with no switch it would be on constantly, or atleast the only way I could find to wire it, it would be. So the switch is there so I can flip it at night.

I found that switch which really hides itself well and I put in next to my right leg so most of the time, its un-noticed.

pretty freaking nice man, i bet with the 18# pulley and meth injection youll hit 650RWHP, if you do im prolly going KB for sure, my SCT/KB guy says mine should hit 690RWHP easy, i said we will see,, but he has 331s making over 600RWHP with similar setups
