iFYI
just so you all know i learned someting today . i recently bought a 89 notch with a motor swap 4cyl to 5.0 not knowing alot about the car i decided to pull the motor and build it so i had it bored 40 over cast steel crank fully balanced , forged pistons , victor jr heads , bbkssi intake 195lph fuel pump , fpr,24lb inj, 76mm mass air full length headers and tons more, now the car had a huge cam in it when i bought it and my motor guy said leave it alone so i did come to find out it had a 2 piece rear main seal and it was a 70s block, maby even a boss block yippi .but the car was speed denisty when i got it so i found a harness out of a 90 gt that was wrecked and got the eec out of it also so now i was in buisness .i put everything in car and fire it up and of course it ran like crap back firing it would not run with the mass air pluged in it plaged me for days it ran so rich nobody knew what was up with it ,well today i talked to a guy who said that if the car is the old firing order but the 90 gt i got the harness and eec was the ho block it was actually telling the inj to open at the wrong time which makes sense so know i have to switch inj wires around to accomadate old school firing order. Anybody ever heard of this problem and does it sound right to you guys
