Only problem I can see with getting a chip is that it will have to be reflashed as the mods keep coming. I don't even run a chip in my car......yet. My vote still goes for pullies and possibly a CAI, but definetely not the ram air kit. Like roundy said, it is known for sucking up water, rocks, small woodland creatures, etc.

Hi everyone. Im new here. I have a 91 LX 5.0. Its pretty much stock, nothin really special about it. Now I pretty much have a christmas budget for myself of around 200 bucks... are there any performance parts that I can get for around this price range that I will notice the power difference? Thanks

For 200 buck...LOL...Well this theory of mine depends on where you live...If you live down south...meaning Tenn, Miss, Ala, or Ga...Try removing your cat's it's legal there...You will find out your stang will sound a bit throatier and it will improve your performance a bit....Also look into getting yourself a CAI...or a Ram Air Kit for underneath your car...I hope this helps ya..

well i just bought 3:73 gears off ebay for 80 bucks (guy spelled gears wrong, so I was the only one to bid) Installed them myself and they made a BIG difference I LOVE them!!!! I also cut off my cats and had my local shop make new pipes back to 2, 2 1/2 inch flows and that was 230 bucks, big improvment but not as much as the gears. just go to ebay and look around, you will find all sort of stuff.
