Collectible?

RE: Collectible?
A car that is put away with purchase documents, all original equipment may be worth money down the road. Cars are not great investments as they require a niche buyer. Someone would have to really want your car in 20 years and be willing to pay $30,000 for your car, This accounts forinflation (at 3% per year) based on a rate of return of 10% APR before inflation. $55000 if you could get 13% APR before inflation. This does not account for the cost to store and maintain the vehicle over the 20 years.
Bottom line is there are way better places to put your money for 20 years that will yield higher returns, like the stock market or real estate.
Enjoy your car as you will - it's not an investment but a hobby.

Yeah, I agree with larsif. If you want to make money, you can find better ways. Of course low miles, garage kept and all the other factors will fetch more cash.
Keep it clean, maintained and save all the stock parts. Keep in mind, if its 20yrs old, great looking car, you will turn heads when cruising down the street (Priceless)
