Default 95 mustang gt miss firing

I just bought a 95 gt and it is miss firing i thought that it might be the plugs or wires so I changed them to my surprise it actually made the miss worse. It only happens at about 1500 rpms when you are moving if you get on it this does not happen and if you are reving up the engine while in park it doesnt happen. It also has a MSD distributor on it. This is really driving me nuts if anyone can give me some advice it would really appriciate it. David

Are you sure it's a misfire and not something else like a shudder or shaking or something like that that could be related to a different issue? If it is indeed a misfire, are the plugs properly gapped? How is the coil, cap, and rotor?

Take your car to a dealership and have them clean the injectors. I bet that will fix your problem

Could be a bad coil if your not sure when it's been replaced or maybe a bad fuel filter? How many miles on the car?
