Default What to replace/rebuild on 87 302?

Hello I am new here, I have a 1964 f-100, and I bought a 1987 Lincoln Town car with a 5.0 Liter in it to put in the truck. I have my engine out, and on the stand. The Car ran just fine, but what should I replace/rebuild as general maintenance on an old engine. I have a little engine knowledge, but do have some really knowledgeable friends that will help with this. Ohh yea , I am going carbuerated. Thanks

General tune-up should do... cap, rotor, plugs, wires. Oil change (obviously), fuel filter probably need a switch. Don't bother cleaning the injectors, you won't need em!

Why not rebuild it with new bearings and rings?

Is there a difference when buying parts between the Lincoln 302 and one in an 87 mustang?
