Default bad oil pan...

So i get to pull my motor out for the third time. The fricken oil pan we bought from summit is stamped wrong and doesnt seal the back rubber gasket properly and leaks. how fun

yea it has warrently, its not the gasket, the metal stamping on the back by the main rear is in the wrong spot and doesnt even seal the gasket when tightened liked suppose to.

how positive are you that its the pan? that sounds like too close of a call. i'd say the pan is hitting the oil pickup.

you can tell by viewing the front stamp and looking at the back stamp. Its tightened properly so it cant be the pick up??

talking about the bottom of your pick up to the oil pan's floor..you must have the right clearance
