RE: 1/8 mile time slip
86GT,
I've got no reason to BS anyone here. I have been working on my lauches for the past month, as I have been scared to launch the car really hard. The guys at this track do a good job at maintenance. So the bite is generally good. I have 2 other timeslips showing a 1.7 60' time while launching the car at 3k. et was an 8.07. This run was my best one so far, and I was surprised as well. But, I could tell the difference as soon as the car left the line.

Thats a damn good 60' for no suspension mods.... i'm not calling bs or anything.. but i would have to see it to really believe it.
ORIGINAL: CHILLERMAN
No suspension work. The only mod is removal of the front sway bar. I'm running M/T drag radials 275/50R/15. All of my previous 60' times have been in the 2.0 range as I was only launching the car at about 2000 rpm. This 60' is with a launch at about 3.5 to 4k. Any higher, it blows the tires off at the line.
