RE: HELP! DID MY CLUTCH CABLE BREAK??!
OK I just looked again today.. I removed the quadrant by removing the locking pin on the end..rather easy..i noticed a some sort of spring tentioner..that almost shot off and hit mee..(im not famiar with how the quadrant works exactly and theres not much room to work with..)..but anyway i included pictures of it ..idk does it look like its damaged beyond use??..or could the spring have come out of its spot where ever that may be??..i also tried to tug the cable to check if it was broken..and that wasnt moving...
i cant afford a quadrant kit till i git paid this weekend...ugghhh

mine looked the same but my cable was frayed. also, about the bbk cable, mine is rough too but i think thats because i didnt grease it up before installing it. i saw a tutorial online that says you should pray dome wd40 into it before the install.

Yah, my BBK cable felt like crap for a long time. The engagement changes depending on how hot the engine is. When its a hot day and im sitting in traffic, the engagement is almost to the floor. That and it felt really ...unconsistent. Like there were spots where it would be harder, and then it would get really easy to push, then a few centimeters it would get harder again. Like pushing the lever of an automatic transmission into different notches. It was also stiff as hell. That all went away, except for the changing engagement point, after i had the clutch replaced and drove it for a while, and now it feels about the same as stock. Still, would definently NOT recomend that kit to anyone.
