Default Mass Air / Check Engine Proble

Hey,

I just got a 76mm C&L MAF system with a 73mm inlet tube for my 95 GT. Ever since I installed it, my check engine light is coming on occasionally and my car bucks and lurches a little bit when I'm not accelerating. I put the same thing (minus the inlet tube) on my 90 GT and have no problems with it. Could the sensor be bad? I appreciate anyone's input!

I'm running this with a March ram air kit.

Thanks!
