Hey in my 86 gt the tranny is really bad. I drained the fluid out of it and it had gear oil in the t-5 and i believe even though its a manual it takes automatic tranny fluid. It needs a rebuild so whats a good rebuild kit for it and where can i get it thanks.

i see a kit on summit for 250 but im not to sure what to look for.

sry man i dont even know how to pm. I have an 86 gt 5 spd so thats definately a t-5 right

try some atf and see if its better

ya i refilled it with the mercon fluid and it a tiny but better but needs to be rebuilt.I just dont know what kit or anything to get. Also im going to replace the clutch and get a short throw.
