well the reason ppl say that is because the supercharger depending on what boost u go with can be usless because if u get massive mount of boost on stock block u start puching the 500hp at the fly wheel and that good for a stock 302 but u got to consider how many miles are on the car to. and u also have to if u changed ur piston see what ur comparsion ratio is.

331 Stroker for street strip, 347 for the strip only, I've got the 331 thatwas built to be supercharged low compression. If you know your gonna suppercharge it later, I would set the motor up for it now.

I bought the car and the motor was just rebuilt, looking at all the reciepts, I'd say and this is including block forged crank and pistons Tfs heads about $5,000 to $6,000 thats an est. you can buy complete stroker motors ready drop in for about the same amout of money.

U could save your self a lot of money by using your stock block, if you did put a supercharger on it you would wanna make sure you didn't go over 500 HP thats about all a stock block will handle "so I here" never blown one up. But Dam 500HP is a fast *** street car.

Wow, that is waaaaaaay out of my budget. But im sure the difference is very noticible.
