hey guys i gotta odd situation. i have a 76mm maf which i bought with the incorrect tube in it, i have put in the 19 lb tube and the screws wont screw in? once i change it back to the old tube, the screws catch thread and screw in...but when i try to put in the 19 lb tube it seems as if the screws are just missing the thread. they are not stripped or anything, its quite odd. anyone have any experience with this, or know where to get a screw thats a tad longer? thanks

have you tried putting the screws into the sampling tube when the tube isnt in the maf to see if the threads are correct?

yes...thats y it is so frustrating.

and did they thread into it or no?

they did thread in...but once i put the tube in the maf and drop in the screws, they dont thread down anymore
