personally i think it only makes a difference if it was really cold just cause it wouldnt freeze the fuel up in the dead of winter in the way north like negative numbers
its there to help warm the engine quicker, and to cool the egr gases going in the intake.
it gets -40 degrees here in the winter, and fuel doesnt freeze by the way.

well i know but what little bit of water that is in fuel will and if there is the slightest bit it will freeze bit i took mine off and did the egr at the same time but hey to each his own i live in alabama and the coldest it got this year was like 26 so i mean as far as i know it is just to warm the engine quicker other than that i am at a loss
