i heard you can't boost a stroked out motor

You heard wrong friend, you can boost anything if you build it correctly. I have a 347 stroker with a Kenne Bell Supercharger at 18psi, anything is possible.

18 lbs on a 347 is insane.... but i'd much rather make that same power with a heavy *** big block stroker motor and be doing it on ALL motor

You were probably told that your block won't hold up to a (properly built) boosted stroker. That is believable

I have friend in Dallas making 790rwhp with 15psi Vortech and high rev DSS 347
on a stock block.

How long it last is anyones guess.

This is a VERY common consequence of over powering a 302 block
