Hey all-

Tried to search but had no luck. As some of you proly know i want to get a remanufactured 5.0 engine and supercharge it. I just want to know how much total h/p can the engine handle without changing any of the internal parts?

on stock internals... not much more than 400ho before youll have problems with the wrist pins.

Thanks, alot AdderMk2... So with that said if i were to get the s/c and bolt ons which would prolly make close to 400 hp, i should be o,k. right? I know everyone says to just do the H/c/i then the s/c because you can get a crap load more power but 400 hp would be plenty for what i am trying to achieve and personally id rather have a 350-400 hp car that is sc'd than to have a n/a car with the same power... i just want a supercharger because its not something you run into every day.. thanks,

Actually i am thinking about going either way, i just wanted to see how much hp i could run on a stock engine without f#@ingsomething up, and now that you say 400 hp, i will prolly have horsies to spare. i just want a car that i can have some fun with.

I am seriously thinking of doing this and just wanted to know what everyone thoughts were. Lets say you could have one or the other between the stock engine with the s/c or get a n/a engine with the same hp. i guess it doesnt really matter but i was just wondering
