ok guys i went and changed my fuel filter just a few minutes ago which was pretty easy and im pretty sure the factory one was in there...figures...anyway...i started up my car after changing it to make sure ther were no leaks and all that and it was all fine...i then looked under the hood and realized that my fan wasnt on...isnt it supposed to be on at all times while the engine is running...if not when does it kick on and if so i need to check my wires and fuses...which fuse is it connected to?

It should only be on at all times if you rewired it to come on with the key. It should not come on until your car gets hot enough that it needs the water cooler. Get the car up to normal temp and see what it does at that time. If the temp guage keeps going up and get near the top of the guage and it still is not on than their may be a problem.
