Before Ipicked upmy first fox arestored '87 notch with stock but all new brakes I was told that I'm going to hate the way these cars stop from a couple of friends who have owned mustangsbut I cannot complain, car stops good ..
So another vote on going through the stock ones again, maybe something's not right..

with drums...they slide way too damn much! i had a 89' f-350 and i hated it b/c of the drums! my freinds 90gt scares me when he has to stop fast...that rear end locks up...

haha i have done that a couple times then another time i got all 4 to lock up almost hit a little kid that ran out in front of me 4th to 2nd and slam on the brakes missed him by about a foot

its scary! thats y i went with th sn95! much safer!

yea my brakes still lock up in back with rebuilt drums and steel brake lines its something horrid when i slam to too quick of a stop, but they stop my car pretty well overall.

If the drums are locking up maybe the proportioning valve is out of whack
