Default question on BBK adjustable clutch cable

ok it says to put the knurled portion of the adjustor ove the cable after removing the black rubber isolator... well i removed the black rubber isolator on the new cable... but i dont see how neting is supposta fit on the white plastic end that hte isolator used to be on.... ne1 who has this the help would be great... i got it form summit and i can get hte part numbers if needed

you have to cut off the 4 small white nubs, then the firewall adjuster will slide right over it

i used a razor balde to cut them off, then sanded them down to make the whole thing smooth

ok sounds good... im guess u have one... did u notice a difference when u shifted?? i figured id put one in since i needed it and the engine was out so it would be much easier to get to everything... thanks for all the advice

My bbk cable made my clutch pedal a lot stiffer over a stock cable. I might try swapping it out for stock cable. I thought it would loosen up after it broke in but 4000 miles later its still just as stiff.

i dont see what it would make it stiffer... i mean if u logically think about it what you replacing shouldnt make nething stiffer... actually i was thinking that u mite have better reaction from the clutch do to the stronger cable and the ability to adjust it when it does strech out.... i dunno im not saying yours sint stiffer... im just saying i dont understand why it would be... u know what i mean??
