i've always loved the 93 cobras. i know they were rated at 235 hp from the factory, and have heard they were underrated. how much hp did they put out at the wheels in stock form?

They probably had 235 to the wheels, but Ford rates its cars SAE.

they were rated at 235hp at the flywheel.. but i have seen many articles on the net saying that in bone stock trim they have put down 220ish to the wheels... wich should be right around 250-260hp or soat the flywheel.

yeah that makes sense. they seem to have the same 0 to 60 andquarter mile performance as 99-04 gt's, and that is the power they make. thanks.

na i have seen tons of 426 hemi chargers cudas even a 2000 cobra R, I have seen boss 302 351 and 429 stangs
i have seen just about every awesome car made yenkos and what not but truly have not seena real cobra fox

go to carlisle pa for the ford show..i bet you will see 20 of them then... andmaybe get lucky enough to see a fox cobra r.
