if you plan on modding it extensively like head and cam.. look for a 89-92. they are maf cars and accept cam and head swaps much nicer.(88's are maf cars though in cali.)

i have an 88, nothin wrong w. it... what do u plan to do w. the car once u have it?cams... your limited, but everything else is basically a go ahead. cant get bigger injectors, however, there slightly faster stock for stock. if you find one for a good price, dont pass it up because its speed density. worse comes to worse you can convert it for relativly cheap

and btw, sd cars dont have problems w. head swaps
