Default Anderson Cam Shaft.. I might of got ripped of :(

I bought a supposly brand new cam from ebay and i wanted to ask do anderson cams have the label on the end of the cam weather its like a B-31 what not. here are the part numbers on it 449518 and 221587 andersons closed no way to find out

ya i think this is the last time ill be using ebay period.. im hoping this is the cam.. he sent me the b-31 cam card with it but who knows.. could be his new cam in his car and junkd the old one to me.. any way i can mesure stuff on the cam and see if it equals out to a b-31?

yeah, you need calipers.

measure the lobe base circle, then at its tallest point. subtract the smaller number from the larger and you'll have your cam lift. now.... mutiply by 1.6 and you'll have your valve lift.

chances are your measurement wont be exactly what your expecting it to be, but you should be within a few thou. definately should be able to tell of you have a stock cam or the larger one your supposed to have

on a serious note, ya got any used oversize forged pistons layin around for cheap? like 289/302 .030/.040/.060 stuff?

looking for parts on the cheap

I heard Anderson cams are just knockoffs of other companies cams, which is why they dont make their cam specs readily available.
