reminds me of this engine i rebiult one time, it was a amc 401 and i was hauling a trailor with it and all of a sudden it just started smoking like crazy so i got it home, tore it apart the next day, found a hole in the piston, it was the size of a 22 bullet, it ended up being a easy out, it was dropped into the carb and found its way around and ended up punching a hole in the piston, it sucked

120.00 for a set of hypers is cheap for sure. In canada performance stuff (even hypers) is costly. The last set I bought run me 340.00 for speed pro's. 10.1 would be nice, but around here 91 octane is the best gas you can buy and I would even question that stuff.
This time around I am not going to make the newb mistake and try to get it running before it's ready. I'll have my wideband setup and dizzy locked proper before trying to drive it anywhere.
